  • Welcome to Friendship Force Perth...

Friendship Force is a worldwide non profit organisation with over 360 clubs dedicated to helping people make friends around the world and furthering world peace.

Club members travel as a group to another club where they are hosted by the local members in their homes for a week. The local club will show their visitors the sights, organise activities and generally entertain them royally. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet all sorts of people around the world, make new friends and help build world peace.

On average we will visit three international clubs in a year and as an example the Perth club has recently visited Mexico, Japan, Germany and Austria.   We also reciprocate by hosting incoming clubs from countries such as Canada, USA, UK and New Zealand.

Hosting an incoming club is just as much fun as travelling overseas. Members of the Perth club will provide accommodation for their visitors, show them the sights of Perth and organise a number of events where both clubs can mingle and meet each other. Other activities might include a boat trip on the Swan River and special outings such as a trip to the Pinnacles or a fish and chips dinner on Cottesloe beach.

The Perth club also has an active social calendar for its members. This includes events such as a Christmas in July dinner, a Melbourne cup lunch, theatre outings, tours and groups simply getting together for a meal and a chat. All this is non profit and organised by volunteers.

This video will give you an idea of what Friendship Force is about:

    New Members

Friendship Force Perth actively welcomes new members.  Annual membership costs $75 and you can be involved as little or as much as you wish.  In addition to travelling and journeys between clubs we also have meetings once a month and one or more social events a month.  It is a wonderful way of meeting people and making friends, even if you do not want to travel overseas.

Normally prospective members come along to one or two meetings or social events before joining to gauge if the club is to their liking.  Our President (Stephen Metcalf) will be happy to invite you to some of these events or tell you more about the club.

Stephen can be contacted by phone: 0428 751 045
